17/11/09 Moore Assistance Client Ryan Sidebottom Becomes a Dad !

Everyone at Moore Assistance would like to congratulate Ryan and Kate Sidebottom who had their first child on Monday. Indiana Nell Sidebottom was born at 5:08pm on Monday in Nottingham but Ryan won't have long to settle into fatherhood - he flies out to South Africa on Saturday to prepare for the Test Series.

Congratulations to paralympian Richard Whitehead on smashing his own marathon world record. Richard completed the Chicago Marathon in 2hrs 50mins!!
Richard is now in training preparing for the London 2012 Paralympics and is looking for corporate sponsorship and support.

30/09/09 Moore Assistance host 'The Macmillan Cancer Support Charity Cocktail Evening' at the exclusive Riverside Crescent Development in Nottingham.

As part of the national Macmillan coffe morning week, Moore Assistance hosted a special cocktail evening in aid of the Cancer charity at the exclusive River Crescent Apartments in Nottingham. Guests included local sports people and business men & women including the likes of Sven Goran Eriksson, Chris Read the NCCC captain, Nottingham Rugby players, Notts County's Lee Hughes and local Paralympian Richard Whitehead.
The evening was a huge success with entertainment from local soul singer Campbell Bass, canepes & cocktails and beauty treats for the ladies by Satin Beauty Therapy. There were also art displays by Jane Thompson and Printing on Metal.
The evening raised over £3000 for Macmillan through generous donations, a raffle and an auction hosted by Heart 106's breakfast duo Sam & Amy.
Moore Assistance would like to thank everybody who attended and donated generously and to those kind people who donated their time and services for the evening.

14/09/09 Moore Assistance's Charlotte Completes the Robin Hood Half Marathon!

Moore Assistance's Charlotte Moore completed the Robin Hood Half Marathon yesterday in a time of 2hrs 37 mins. She was running in aid of the NSPCC charity and was joined by MA's client Richard Whitehead who ran the half marathon in 1hr 23 mins.

14/07/09 Moore Assistance to support local GB Paralympian Richard Whitehead.

Moore Assistance are proud to be supporting Nottinghamshire's paralympian Richard Whitehead as he prepares to take part in the London 2012 Paralympics.
Richard is a congenital double amputee who has represented Great Britain at the Paralympics in both Swiming and Sledge Hockey. Richard now runs marathons, ultra marathons and coast to coast runs all over the world and is the current Marathon World Record Holder for an amputee breaking the 3hr barrier at the 2009 Rome Marathon.

03/07/09 The Gary Rees Testimonial Golf Day, Notts Golf Club, Hollinwell.

Charlotte and Rob hosted the successful Gary Rees Testimonial Golf Day on the 3rd of July in aid of the 'We Are Macmillan Cancer Support'. Sporting stars such as Tim Stimpson the Ex Leicester Tigers rugby player, Ex England & Arsenal footballer Lee Dixon & Ex Manchester United player now TV Celebrity Lee Sharpe joined local business’ to enjoy the wonderful course at Notts Golf Club, Hollinwell. The rain soon eased off & everyone enjoyed the 18 holes & the evening hospitality at the club house.
The event was a huge success because of the good turn out, the golf course which was in superb condition considering the earlier rain and the generosity of the people there.
Thanks need to go to the sponsors on the day McCann, also to Direct Golf UK, N1 Golf, Paul Smith, Richard Clay & Brian Noble and the staff at Hollinwell. The event raised significant funds for the beneficiaries involved & we all look forward to the next get together on October 21st for Gary's closing dinner.

Charlotte and Rob hosted the first calendar event for ex England and Nottingham Rugby player Gary Rees.The East Midlands Conference Centre was the chosen venue to host a gathering of Rugby greats including legends Jason Leonard OBE, Lewis Moody MBE, Neil Back MBE, Dusty Hare and the MC for the evening Martin Bayfield.

Gary has given 30 years of dedication & commitment to Nottingham Rugby and in return 2009 will be his testimonial year. 300 guests joined Gary & the stars to enjoy an evening of sumptuous foods, champagne & entertainment.The evening was a huge success raising money & awareness for Gary & his chosen charity 'We Are Macmillan Cancer Support'.
